If you believe that your baby's above average, perhaps they should be conveyed in above-average style. Royale of London advertised they made the world's most beautiful baby carriage, and as you can see by this they were true to their word. When you you dismantle a pram, you can tell the quality by the fittings. Royale are no exception, with the carriage being on springs rather than straps.
You'll see the original fringe is still on the sun shade, the decorative fabric around the main cover, and there are multiple levers and knobs for adjusting the configuration of the pram.
This is a fabulous pram to push, and the ride is as gentle as can be with an easy and very smooth bounce. Note that there is some surface rust. I've polished as much out as I can, but someone with more time and ability could spiff this up even better. And while the wheels are solid, they are showing signs of age (this pram is likely from around the 1950s). The rubber of the handgrip, also, is worn, but functional. I imagine it could be wrapped by a newer handgrip.
The vibrant red color draws attention, and it's easy to picture yourself pushing this along a lakefront sidewalk or through a quiet neighborhood. Years from now your child will thank you for bringing them up in a pram of such magnificence.
