California Faience fruit basket tile/trivet

Description

Offered is an excellent California Faience fruit themed cuenca tile with glossy and matte glazes. The border is their beautiful royal blue glaze. It is a good companion to the flower basket tile but is, I think, less seen. I believe it was designed by Stella Loveland Towne in the 20's or 30's. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There is very slight, barely noticeable, wear on the high point of the border. The tile will be shipped double boxed for safety, and insured.
