Antique 19th Century Victorian Doll Carriage Buggy Stenciled Wood Wheels
This carriage is on of 2 in my listing from the estate of a long time doll collector
I believe the carriage may have been made by Joel Ellis of Springfield Vt, You decide
Original reddish orange painted surface with blue stenciling
Decorative iron trim around the back
Measures 34"L (end of handle to end of front wheels) x 11"W
Condition
Very good to excellent
Painted surface is intact with some wear
The spokes on one wheel and 2 spokes on another one look like they may have been replaced
If so, done a longtime ago and a very good job (see photo)
Wheels and handle will be removed for safe shipping
Just waiting for a doll or teddy bear!!!
