  • Condition: The item is overall in good/acceptable pre-owned condition, the whole base of the piece was eaten away by insects but that happened in its original place in Burma, the piece is stable, no active insects, it was attached to a heave metal base, wear to the gilt finish in places, some scrapes and wear marks to the wooden finish in places, this is an authentic piece that was not artificially aged

    Up for sale from a recent estate in Honolulu Hawaii, this 19th century Burmese Shan state gilt wood seated Buddha statue that was mounted onto a heavy metal stand due to the damage to the base.
    The condition is described above - for more details please check the photos.  The piece was purchased for ,500 in Honolulu about 40 years ago at C.S. Wo who brought these pieces into the country at that time  An Asian Arts appraiser inspected it and confirmed age and geographic location.  We are packing specialists so please
